VP Finance -SAAS - CTC upto 1.5 Crs.

We are currently hiring for VP Finance role with a leading SAAS startup based out in Bangalore.

Job Description:-

Financial Visibility & Control

Establish real-time visibility into expenses, cash flow, burn rate, runway, and AP/AR, while building a reliable, audit-ready financial baseline. A key part of this will be eliminating inconsistencies across spreadsheets, agencies, and internal tracking.

Finance Systems & Infrastructure

You will design and implement finance stack from first principles. This includes selecting and deploying tools across accounting, billing, expense management, and reporting, and defining how data flows across systems.

MIS, Reporting & Decision Support

You will own and upgrade how the company understands its financial performance. This includes building investor-grade MIS, creating executive dashboards, and translating financial data into clear, actionable insights.

FP&A and Strategic Finance

You will define and track key SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, burn rate, and runway, and help drive decisions on pricing, GTM investments, and cost efficiency.

Accounting, Compliance & Global Operations

You will oversee accounting and compliance across India, the United States, and Europe. In the near term, this will involve working with external agencies, but your mandate will be to bring structure, control, and accountability to these processes, and gradually transition to a more robust hybrid or in-house setup.

Order-to-Cash & Procure-to-Pay Discipline

You will bring rigor to billing, collections, revenue recognition, and AP/AR processes, which are currently handled in an ad hoc manner. The objective is to establish scalable, auditable workflows aligned with SaaS best practices.

Fundraising Readiness & Investor Engagement

With a planned fundraiser in the next 12 months, you will play a central role in preparing the company. This includes owning investor reporting, building financial models and data room artifacts, and supporting diligence and investor interactions.

Team & Org Build

You will be responsible for building the finance organization thoughtfully over time, balancing leverage with controlWe are looking for a finance leader who combines a builder mindset, systems thinking, and strategic capability.

Key Requirements:-

• Experience in building or significantly transformed a finance function in a startup environment and are comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment.
• You think in terms of systems and automation, not spreadsheets, and actively look for ways to eliminate manual work.
• Strong SaaS finance expertise, with a deep understanding of metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, and LTV, and can connect these metrics to business decisions.
• You can operate as a thought partner to founders, balancing growth, efficiency, and risk.
• You are also highly hands-on — willing to get into the details
