Role: VP - Business Development

Location: Mumbai

Full-time, in-office role

Role Overview

A leading full-service agency is looking for a VP – Business Development to drive revenue across our Advertising Services, Creator Marketing ecosystem, and branded content. This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how culture, content, and commerce intersect—and knows how to sell it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build new relationships and drive new client acquisition for the Creative agency business while generating revenue for various businesses that the agency runs - Branded content, IPs, Influencer marketing
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers pan India.
  • Create and maintain key relationships with clients and ensuring sustained and long-term business with them
  • Explore new streams of revenue and build them to be sustainable

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Leadership: Drive revenue growth across various business functions the agency, with focus on advertising services and creator-led solutions.
  • Network Growth: Create new relationships and generate opportunities to work with brands new to the agency's ecosystem
  • Client Relationships: Leverage and expand a strong network of CXOs, brand heads, and

marketing decision-makers

  • Pipeline Management: Create a predictable, high-quality pipeline with strong forecasting

discipline

  • Team Leadership: Lead and scale a high-performing sales team - set targets, drive accountability, and mentor talent
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the agency's robust creative team, servicing team, content team - strategize, and sell culture-first solutions

Qualifications And Prior Experience

  • 10+ years in Sales, with significant experience in media, digital, or advertising
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and hitting revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of Advertising, Influencer marketing, branded content ecosystems,

and digital IPs

  • Deep brand and agency connects across India
  • Ability to co-build and sell ideas, and not just inventory
  • High ownership mindset with strong commercial acumen
