Inside CoinDCX's Legal Team
Our Legal team safeguards CoinDCX's legal interests, navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the blockchain industry with expertise and foresight. This role will handle litigation and criminal procedurerelated work in a tech startup environment. The role focuses on managing high-volume regulatory and legal compliance matters, particularly lien marking and debit freeze issues, ensuring timely resolution and compliance. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of overseeing end-to-end legal operational processes to reduce customer impact and compliance risks.
You'll Excel in This Role If You Have
- 12-20 years PQE (law firm + in-house preferred)
- Strong litigation experience
- Experience managing multi-jurisdiction matters and external counsels
- Fintech/payments/crypto exposure preferred
- Commercial mindset, high ownership, calm under pressure
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining strong governance standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead all civil, criminal, consumer, commercial litigation and arbitrations
- Develop defence strategy, settlements, and risk mitigation plans
- Lead crisis response (raids, data requests, urgent escalations)
- Manage and optimise external counsel and litigation budgets
- Manage enforcement matters, investigations, and regulatory notices.
- Advise leadership on dispute risk and regulatory exposure
- Build and scale the litigation function, processes, and trackers
- Develop and implement risk management and mitigation strategies, and oversee dispute resolution when required.
- Manage and coordinate external legal counsel and ensure alignment with organizational strategy and timelines.
- Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments in corporate, fintech, and emerging areas such as crypto and Web3, assessing their impact on the business.
