With strong operational expertise in refurbishing, logistics, and quality control, we are building India's most trusted circular commerce platform in this category.
We are looking for a highly technical, execution-focused Tech Co-Founder to own and scale our entire technology ecosystem.
Role Overview
As Tech Co-Founder, you will:
- Own the complete technology vision, architecture, and execution
- Manage and continuously improve the current Voorent website
- Lead the development of our AI-powered P2P marketplace
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Eventually build and lead the engineering team
This is an equity-only founding role with long-term ownership.
Core Responsibilities1 Manage & Improve Existing Platform
- Take ownership of current website performance, speed, UX & scalability
- Optimize backend architecture
- Improve conversion funnel & user experience
- Ensure security, uptime, and seamless operations
2 Build AI-Powered P2P Marketplace
- Architect marketplace backend using Java (Spring Boot preferred)
- Build high-performance frontend using React.js
- Develop AI-driven price recommendation & smart matching engine
- Implement trust scoring & fraud detection systems
- Integrate secure escrow-based payment systems
- Build admin dashboards & analytics layer
3 Tech Leadership
- Define long-term tech roadmap
- Select infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Build & lead tech team post-funding
- Ensure scalable and modular system design
Tech Requirements (Must Have)
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
- Strong frontend expertise in React.js
- Experience building scalable web applications
- Experience with REST APIs & microservices architecture
- Database design (PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB)
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS / GCP)
Preferred
- Experience building marketplace platforms
- AI/ML integration experience (recommendation systems, pricing models)
- Payment gateway & escrow integrations
- DevOps understanding (CI/CD, Docker, etc.)
