Job Description
Results oriented Windows and VMware Systems Administrator with 5 plus years of experience in designing, deploying and managing enterprise grade virtualized environments and Windows infrastructure. Responsible for ensuring high availability uptime, managing complex migrations and implementing automation to improve operational efficiency.
Administer VMware vSphere 7.x and 8.0 environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server and vSAN clusters. Manage Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 lifecycle components including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Failover Clustering.
Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like vROps by analyzing CPU, memory and storage utilization and performing virtual machine rightsizing. Strengthen security through server hardening and automated patch management using SCCM and BigFix.
Develop and maintain PowerShell and PowerCLI scripts to automate tasks such as virtual machine provisioning, snapshot management and report generation. Provision storage LUNs and manage datastore clusters on Dell EMC storage arrays.
Experienced in ITIL based change and incident management processes. Skilled in Windows Server administration, VMware administration, networking, storage management and IT service management practices.
