Job Description:
Role Summary:
As a Senior Consultant, you will take a leadership role in automation (preferable Aria Automation) and infrastructure automation, with a focus on VMware infrastructure. You will mentor junior consultants, lead code reviews, and ensure high-quality technical solutions. You will also conduct workshops with clients, create design documents, and lead design reviews to ensure alignment with client requirements. Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible/Salt is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead automation projects and ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements.
- Code Review: Review code quality and architecture, ensuring that development follows best practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior consultants, helping them improve their skills and understanding of automation and VMware technologies.
- VMware Infrastructure: Design and implement automation solutions using VMware technologies such as vSphere, NSX, and vRealize.
- Workshops with Clients: Conduct technical workshops with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and drive solution alignment.
- Design Documents & Reviews: Create and maintain design documents, and facilitate design reviews with clients to ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with clients and teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in automation and continuously adapt to new technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of VMware tools including vSphere, vRealize, NSX, and other VMware technologies is required
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conducting workshops and design reviews with clients.
- Leadership experience in guiding teams and reviewing code.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, languages, and platforms quickly.
