We are seeking an experienced VMware Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing VMware environments, ensuring high availability and performance for our virtual infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage VMware environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the VMware infrastructure in a timely manner.
Monitor and optimize performance of virtual machines and host servers.
Collaborate with network and systems teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
Develop and maintain documentation related to VMware configurations and procedures.
Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and security within the VMware infrastructure.

Skills and Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in VMware administration and virtualization technologies.
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
Experience with VMware NSX and vSAN technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerCLI, Python, or Bash.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar.
