Infrastructure Engineer Virtualization / VMware Focus

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Infrastructure Engineer Virtualization / VMware Focus. You will play a key role in managing large-scale, multi-datacenter VMware environments, supporting VDI platforms, and ensuring system availability and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support large-scale, multi-datacenter VMware vSphere environments

Manage and maintain VMware Horizon (VDI) infrastructure

Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities

Support backup and disaster recovery processes (Rubrik desirable)

Monitor infrastructure performance and availability using PRTG

Collaborate with networking, security, and systems teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

• 37 years of experience in virtualization or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere
• Experience supporting VDI environments (VMware Horizon)
• Understanding of SANs and distributed storage technologies
• Exposure to backup, recovery, and patch management processes
• Rubrik backup experience
• Patch management tools (Ivanti preferred)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration
• Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Endpoint Manager) and basic Azure exposure
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
