VMC Programmer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Programmer to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for developing CNC programs, setting up VMC machines, and ensuring high-quality machining of components as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify CNC programs (G-code) for VMC machines

- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models

- Set up tools, fixtures, and work offsets on machines

- Optimize machining processes for productivity and cost efficiency

- Conduct trial runs and ensure dimensional accuracy

- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

- Maintain proper documentation of programs and setups

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code & M-code)

- Experience with VMC machines

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

- Experience in multi-axis machining

- Knowledge of GD&T

- Experience in mechanical seal or pump components machining
