Role Overview:

We are looking for a VMC Programmer & Operator set up, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for precision components. The role involves VNC programming, tool selection, and machine operation, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety and process standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute CNC programs for VMC machines based on part drawings and specifications

Set up VMC machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding

Operate VMC machines for precision machining and monitor production quality

Perform first article inspection and maintain process documentation

Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues to ensure smooth production flow

Collaborate with production and quality teams for continuous process improvement

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of VMC machines, CNC programming, and operations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters

Knowledge of workholding, fixtures, and setup procedures

Familiarity with inspection tools and quality standards
