Vmc Operator

Description

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to join our manufacturing team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating Vertical Machining Centers, ensuring precision and efficiency in the machining process. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can adhere to safety standards and contribute to the overall productivity of our production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to ensure efficient production processes.
• Perform setup and calibration of VMC machines according to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC machinery to prevent downtime.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Document production output and machine performance metrics for quality control.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in operating VMC machines or similar CNC equipment.
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and materials.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC controls.
• Ability to perform quality checks using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
