Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising
- Own the visual merchandising strategy across all offline touchpoints
- Design and execute VM guidelines that balance brand expression with retail practicality
- Create layouts for displays, fixtures, shelves, windows, kiosks, and pop-ups
- Ensure consistent brand representation across formats, cities, and partners
- Collaborate with designers on POS assets, signage, and in-store communication
- Regularly audit stores and retail partners to maintain VM standards
Trade Marketing
- Plan and execute trade marketing initiatives to support launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments
- Develop in-store marketing assets including danglers, shelf talkers, standees, testers, and demo tools
- Work with sales teams to align trade plans with business goals
- Support retail partners with toolkits, training material, and sell-in stories
- Coordinate execution timelines with vendors, printers, and logistics teams
Retail Experience & Performance
- Design retail journeys that educate, reassure, and convert customers
- Think deeply about shopper behaviour, dwell time, and decision-making at the shelf
- Track the effectiveness of VM and trade initiatives using qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Continuously optimise layouts and assets based on performance insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with brand, content, product, and sales teams
- Translate campaign narratives into strong retail expressions
- Act as the bridge between creative intent and commercial execution
What We're Looking For
- 47 years of experience in visual merchandising, trade marketing, retail marketing, or a blended role
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with a clear understanding of brand storytelling
- Practical experience working with physical retail formats (multi-brand, D2C stores, pop-ups, kiosks, exhibitions)
- Ability to think creatively and operationally
- Comfortable working with vendors, printers, fabricators, and retail partners
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- A balance of intuition and data-led decision-making
Nice to Have
- Experience in lifestyle, fashion, wellness, FMCG, or consumer brands
- Exposure to both D2C and general trade / modern trade environments
- Ability to create simple mock-ups, layouts, or briefs for designers
