Visual Merchandising Executive

About the Role

You will assist the Visual Merchandising Manager with design and visual merchandising efforts across the Travel Retail APAC markets in accordance with all the brand guidelines for our entire portfolio of brands. You will execute best-in-class luxury retail excellence for our points-of-sale and products to support the achievement of our commercial KPIs. You will also hold project management responsibilities for our business expansion and acceleration plans within Travel Retail APAC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Permanent Visual Merchandising

• Support permanent visual merchandising projects including new store openings, renovations, counter upgrades and in-store refurbishments across Travel Retail APAC.
• Coordinate with global brand, commercial teams, retailers and external vendors to ensure timely execution in line with brand guidelines.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of store layouts, VM assets and completed projects.

Temporary Visual Merchandising & Animations

• Coordinate seasonal launches, animations, pop-ups and promotional activations across the region.
• Work closely with brand and commercial teams to adapt global concepts to retailer requirements while ensuring premium execution.
• Monitor installation quality and execution excellence across all retail locations.

Retail Excellence

• Ensure counters and promotional spaces are executed in line with global merchandising guidelines and retailer standards.
• Conduct store audits, monitor counter conditions and identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility and shopper experience.
• Partner with Commercial teams and Beauty Advisors to reinforce merchandising standards.

Project & Budget Management

• Coordinate POSM forecasting, ordering and distribution across TR APAC markets.
• Manage project timelines, vendors and approvals to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track VM expenditure and support budget management for all visual merchandising activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Project Management, Retail Design, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, project management, preferably within the beauty or luxury sectors in a travel retail environment. Experience in the perfume & cosmetics industry will be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Good project management skills with the ability to lead and support multiple projects across different brands simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Excellent budget management skills, with experience in vendor negotiations and resource allocation.
• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external parties.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines, maintaining strong attention to details.
