Role Overview:

Zepto is seeking an experienced Visual Designer to be part of our product design team. This position requires knowledge in illustrations, visual design, a strong understanding of UI and product strategy, along with a creative flair in motion design. You will work in close partnership with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to create smooth, enjoyable, and efficient user experiences for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop visually appealing designs for our mobile application that reflect our brand and objectives.
• Conceptualize and design visually impactful campaigns for (within our ecosystem) and brands
• Create or generate cohesive illustrations which can help bring life to different experiences like gamification, or creating campaigns for a variety of brands.
• Strong understanding of basic design and motion principles.
• Work with the product team to turn complex problems into simple, easy-to-use designs.
• Incorporate motion and micro-interactions into product experiences to enhance engagement and clarity.
• Offer guidance and constructive criticism to junior designers and team members from different functions.
• Maintain a balance between speed and quality while navigating a fast-paced work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Min 2 years of experience in visual design, ideally within a D2C or product-focused startup.
• A robust portfolio that highlights strong visual craftsmanship, UI design projects, and instances of motion graphics or animations.
• If you enjoy fast turnarounds, multi-tasking across categories, and iterating based on real-time feedback.
• Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Lottie.
• A solid grasp of typography, layout, color theory, and responsive design principles.
• Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams throughout the design process, from concept to execution.
• Ability to take ownership of end-to-end design workflows.

Good to Have:

• Experience working in high-growth consumer tech or quick commerce companies.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
