Who We Are: Aumraa is reimagining how modern Indians and the global diaspora engage with faith by blending ancient wisdom with modern life. We're building a mobile-first faith-tech companion that brings together daily rituals, spiritual guidance, authentic sacred products, and a vibrant community all in one seamless experience.

This is a 6-day, in-office role (Saturday as alternate remote working) within an early-stage startup / founding team environment. It is meant for people who are genuinely excited by ownership, speed, and building from scratch. If you are not comfortable with a 6-day work week, or are looking for a more structured setup, please do not apply.

What You'll Actually Do

Design Across Aumraa's Visual Universe (Brand & Digital) 35%

  • Design high-quality creatives for social media, website, emailers, ads, banners, and campaigns.
  • Create campaign visual identities for launches, festivals, and rituals (key visuals, post sets, story sequences).
  • Design e-commerce creatives: product hero images, category banners, offer graphics, listing thumbnails.
  • Create and iterate ad creatives based on performance data and feedback from the growth team.
  • Develop moodboards and concept routes for key campaigns, new product lines, and seasonal drops.
  • Build and maintain brand systems: typography, colour palettes, icon styles, grids, and reusable templates.
  • Ensure strong visual consistency across all digital touchpoints (web, app visuals, marketing)

Packaging & Print Design 35%

  • Conceptualise and design product packaging, from idea to print-ready files.
  • Create cohesive design systems where packaging, social, and campaigns feel like one visual family.
  • Design labels, boxes, sleeves, inserts, stickers, and print collateral aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with vendors on dielines, finishes, and print specs to ensure final output matches intent.

AI-Enabled Creative Workflows 25%

  • Use AI tools thoughtfully for concept generation, visual exploration, photo generation, campaign route development, animation ideation, and short video creation.
  • Build faster first-draft directions for campaigns, packaging explorations, social posts, and performance creatives using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Experiment with AI for product background creation, styling mockups, visual compositions, ad variations, storyboarding, and lightweight motion concepts.
  • Create basic motion assets, short-form videos, launch teasers, reels, animated story sequences, and lightweight visual effects for digital campaigns.

Creative Ops & Cross-Functional Collab 5%

  • Help build and maintain brand guidelines (logo usage, colour system, type scales, imagery style, iconography).
  • Document design rules and templates so that social, packaging, and web outputs stay aligned as the brand scales.
  • Collaborate with content and social teams to make integrated campaigns that feel like one voice.
  • Work in rhythm with the content calendar so that every festival drop, ritual, or launch feels visually synced.
  • Stay updated on design and D2C trends, especially in spiritual, wellness, and lifestyle brands.

Tools You'll Likely Use

  • Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma & Canva
  • AI tools: Midjourney, DALLE, Sora (or similar)
  • Bonus: Motion graphics / video editing tools (After Effects, CapCut, etc.)

Who You Are

  • You may call yourself a graphic designer, visual designer, or brand designer - labels matter less than your eye and thinking.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in visual designing
  • Curious about AI tools is good. Knowing how to use them tastefully, strategically, and efficiently in real creative workflows is even better.
  • Strong sense of composition, typography, colour, hierarchy, and spacing.
  • Comfortable with photography/camera along with decent understanding of video editing, motion graphics, and animation
  • Organized, proactive, and excited by the energy of an early-stage team.

Non-requirements: Fancy degrees, perfect portfolios, or buzzwords like rockstar. We care about Taste, Intent, Speed, and Heart.
