Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Junior Visual Design Associate to support our growing creative efforts across marketing, sales, and product functions at Simulanis. You'll assist in creating high-quality visual collaterals from presentations and brochures to emailers and onepagers while working closely with senior team members.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual storytelling with proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, leverages AI design tools, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

A) Content & Collateral Design

• Design visually engaging assets: presentations, brochures, flyers, emailers, social media posts and landing pages.
• Work with existing design templates and help build new reusable ones
• Translate written content into clear, appealing visuals (content design thinking)
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across all outputs.
• Create and update high-impact presentations on Google Slides
• Maintain brand consistency and hierarchy in layout, fonts, and visuals

B) AI & Design Tools

• Use AI tools to generate images, explore layout ideas, and critique or refine your own work
• Continuously explore new tools to speed up visual workflows

C) Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with the senior designer and marketing team to meet design needs
• Accept feedback constructively and iterate quickly
• Manage multiple design tasks with reliability and attention to detail

Skills, Traits & Qualifications

• 12 years of visual design experience
• Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong presentation design skills, preferably using Google Slides
• Ability to translate content into clean, compelling visual formats
• Solid understanding of design principles: layout, color theory, typography, spacing (especially for dark themes)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and self-sufficient in managing design work and creative problem-solving
• Accountable and deadline-oriented; delivers reliably with minimal follow-ups
• High attention to detail and consistency across deliverables
• Eagerness to learn and continuously improve
