Job Summary:
We are looking for a versatile Videographer & Editor who can ideate, shoot, and edit compelling visual content for our product-focused brand. The ideal candidate is comfortable shooting both with a smartphone and a professional camera, understands lighting setups, and is proficient in post-production editing. You should have a sharp eye for detail, creativity in storytelling, and a strong understanding of what works in product-centric visual content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shooting & Production
- Capture high-quality video using both smartphone and DSLR/mirrorless cameras
- Set up lighting for shoots (basic to intermediate studio setups)
- Shoot videos in various formats including product demos, lifestyle content, testimonials, reels, etc.
- Editing
- Edit videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, website, etc.)
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, colour correction, and sound design
- Ensure final videos align with brand guidelines and messaging
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand video requirements
- Bring creative ideas to the table for video campaigns and content strategy
- Manage feedback loops and deliver edits on time
- Asset Management
- Organize and maintain a library of raw footage and final video assets
- Stay updated on video trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in videography and video editing, ideally in a product or consumer-focused environment
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Knowledge of basic lighting setups and sound recording
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and branding
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant past work is a must
Preferred:
- Experience with product photography or stop-motion is a plus
- Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a bonus
- Social media content creation experience (especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
