Role Summary

We're looking for a visual-first creatorsomeone who thinks in frames, sequences, and outcomes. This role is for a Photographer / Videographer / Visual Content Producer who understands how visual language works across platforms and how brands are built through consistent, intentional content.

You should be comfortable working across photography, video, and short-form formats, with a strong sense of composition, context, and narrative compression. This is not a role limited to execution aloneit rewards people who understand why something works.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in a media agency, creative agency, production house, or brand content team
• Strong background in branding, content design, film-making, and visual arts
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (strategy, brand, execution)
• A well-curated personal or professional portfolio (mandatory)

What You'll Do

Taelo, a brand consulting & creative agency, is hiring a Photographer + Videographer with strong instincts for composition, lighting, framing, storytelling, and short-form content creation.

This role is heavily focused on:

• Instagram Reels, brand videos, and campaign-led visuals
• On-ground shoots, creative execution, and rapid content turnaround
• AI-assisted production workflows to improve speed and quality

Key Idea

This is an end-to-end creative role ideation to execution. Your day will involve visual creation, brand thinking, collaboration, research, and documentation.

You'll also help set up content databases, creative references, and execution learnings, making this a hybrid creative + operational role.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality reels, campaigns, and branded content
• Apply strong cinematography fundamentals for social-first formats
• Work with AI tools (Topaz, Runway, cleanup/enhancement workflows)
• Collaborate with Content Strategist, Creative Director, and Founder
• Maintain professional file management and production discipline
• Contribute to creative ideation and visual direction

Technical Requirements

• Own professional gear (camera body, lenses, stabilisation, basic audio)
• Strong understanding of short-form video and social media formats
• Familiarity with AI-assisted video and image workflows
• Ability to take creative direction and align with brand context
• Fast-paced, reliable, execution-focused mindset

Qualifications

• Ownership-driven, problem-solving creator
• Startup experience preferred
• Strong portfolio showing branding, film-making, and short-form content
• Experience contributing to brand or business growth
• Familiarity with content performance metrics & reporting
• Bachelor's in Film Making, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field
• 25 years experience in agency / consultancy / studio environments
