Role Description As a full-time Video Editor at YOSO Media, you will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, compelling stories for various digital platforms. Working on-site in Mumbai, you will collaborate with producers, directors, writers, and designers to understand project goals and translate them into engaging video content. Your day-to-day work will include organizing media assets, editing video sequences, refining pacing and narrative flow, and applying sound design, transitions, and simple visual effects. You will perform color correction and color grading to ensure visual consistency, as well as integrate motion graphics and on-screen text where needed. The role also involves maintaining brand guidelines, managing project files, and meeting deadlines while adapting to feedback from stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, structuring narratives, and preparing content for multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment across all deliverables.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling, clarity, and audience engagement.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to work from creative briefs or rough concepts.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond constructively to feedback and work on-site in a team environment in Mumbai.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing and motion work is required.
