Roles And Responsibilities

Content Creation: Edit, assemble, and enhance short-form video content.
Storytelling: Craft narratives and stories within the brief timeframes.
Visual Enhancement: Enhance video and audio quality, adjust colour grading, and incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to make the content visually appealing.
Music Integration: Select and sync appropriate music tracks to enhance the overall viewing experience.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and styles, ensuring content remains relevant and attractive to target audiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, content strategists, and clients to bring their vision to life while meeting project deadlines.
Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine and improve content quality.
Platform Optimization: Ensure videos adhere to platform-specific guidelines and dimensions.

Skills Required

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro)
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience preferences.
Knowledge of video compression, codecs, and file formats.
Creative storytelling skills and an eye for visual aesthetics.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
Experience with colour grading and sound editing is a bonus.
