Role Overview

We are looking for a Meme-Based Video Editor who understands internet culture, timing, and humour. This role focuses on editing short-form, high-impact meme videos using fast cuts, sound effects, music, and visual overlays to maximize engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit 2 meme-style short-form clips per day (approximately 62 clips per month)
• Create fast-paced edits with strong timing and visual flow
• Use meme elements such as pop-up visuals, captions, and overlays
• Add sound effects and music (for example impact sounds like FAAH) to enhance humour and punch
• Work closely with the content and brand teams to execute daily edits
• Adapt edits based on trends, formats, and performance feedback

Requirements

• Strong understanding of meme culture and short-form video trends
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and audio sync
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and consistency
• Prior experience with meme-style or short-form content is highly preferred

Compensation

Salary will be discussed based on experience and role fit.
