Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a skilled Video Editor at our Bangalore office. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage, color grading, enhancing visual components with motion graphics, and effectively collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality video content. The candidate will work on diverse projects, including corporate films, brand campaigns, and training videos, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit corporate films, brand videos, documentaries, and promotional content with a cinematic approach.
- Work with DaVinci Resolve for editing, color grading, and finishing.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and creative teams to shape the final narrative.
- Handle footage organization, rough cuts, fine cuts, and final delivery according to project timelines.
- Perform advanced color grading to achieve cinematic visual quality.
- Integrate music, sound effects, motion graphics, and titles to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual standards across all projects.
- Optimize videos for digital platforms, presentations, and broadcast requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
REQUIRED SKILL
- Minimum 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (Editing, Color Grading, Finishing).
- Good understanding of cinematography, storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of sound design, transitions, and visual rhythm.
- Ability to interpret scripts, creative briefs, and brand guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
PREFERRED SKILL
- Experience with corporate films, brand storytelling, documentaries, or advertising content.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro / Motion Graphics is a plus.
- Understanding of color theory and cinematic grading techniques.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
