Whizz HR is hiring for a Video editor to work with a leading advertising agency in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Production
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X
• Create engaging reels, shorts, and promotional videos
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and music
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and visual identity
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats
• Content Repurposing
• Convert webinars, podcasts, interviews, and founder recordings into multiple content pieces.
• Extract key moments and create short-form clips.
• Develop video snippets for social media campaigns
• Post-Production
• Color correction and color grading.
• Audio enhancement and synchronization.
• Thumbnail creation and basic graphic design support.
• Manage video file organization and asset libraries
• Collaboration
• Work closely with founders, marketing teams, content managers, and designers.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Assist in developing creative concepts and storytelling approaches
• Performance Optimization
• Stay updated on social media video trends.
• Analyze content performance and recommend improvements.
• Experiment with hooks, formats, and editing styles to increase engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media and marketing content.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
• Final Cut Pro (optional)
• Experience editing vertical short-form content.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

Preferred Skills

• Founder/personal brand content editing experience
• YouTube and LinkedIn content optimization
• Thumbnail and graphic design skills
• Knowledge of social media trends and algorithms
• Experience with AI-powered editing tools
