Job Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and performance-driven Video Editor / Creative Strategist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience creating high-converting video content for e-commerce brands across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.

This role combines video editing expertise with creative strategy, requiring a strong understanding of direct-response marketing, consumer psychology, and performance-driven content. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data-driven creative concepts, producing high-converting video advertisements, and continuously optimizing content based on performance metrics and audience insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative strategies for paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Create and edit high-converting video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Produce engaging content including UGC ads, product demonstrations, testimonials, and promotional videos.
  • Develop compelling hooks, storytelling, and calls-to-action that drive conversions.
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimize creatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and media buying teams to create winning ad concepts.
  • Research market trends, competitor creatives, and emerging content formats.
  • Create and test multiple creative variations to improve campaign performance and ROI.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and performance objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in video editing and creative strategy for e-commerce brands.
  • Proven track record of creating high-performing video ads that drive conversions and sales.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing direct-response advertising content.
  • Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing high-performing video advertisements and e-commerce creative work.

Advanced proficiency in:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut. Experience with Adobe Photoshop is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Instagram Reels, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of conversion-focused marketing and direct-response advertising.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and optimize creative assets based on data.
  • Excellent storytelling, video editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience creating high-converting content for DTC and e-commerce brands.
  • Knowledge of consumer psychology and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and content creation platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
