Job Title: Video Editor & Visual Content Creator

Location: Hyderabad

Type: Full-Time / Contract

Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor & Visual Content Creator who can bring stories to life through high-quality video editing, thumbnail design, and dynamic motion graphics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and possess a strong understanding of cinematography principles, including camera operations, lighting, and sound equipment especially for interview-style shoots.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit long-form and short-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent software.

Design eye-catching YouTube/thumbnail graphics tailored to each video's theme and brand guidelines.

Create smooth scene transitions, lower thirds, kinetic typography, and text animations using Adobe After Effects.

Collaborate with scriptwriters and content creators to align visual storytelling with narrative tone.

Assist in planning and executing interview shoots, ensuring professional lighting, sound, and framing.

Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting rigs, and audio recording setups during production.

Organize and manage video assets and project files for efficient post-production workflow.

Stay updated with latest video trends and platform-specific content requirements (YouTube, Instagram Reels, etc.).

Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Strong portfolio showcasing editing skills, thumbnail design, and motion graphics.

Understanding of video compression formats and export settings for web/social platforms.

Familiarity with video cameras (Canon/Sony), lighting equipment, and audio systems (lav mics, boom, field recorders).

Ability to troubleshoot basic production equipment issues on-site.

Excellent sense of pacing, music timing, and narrative flow.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in video production/editing.

Basic knowledge of color grading (DaVinci Resolve is a plus).

Experience working in content creation, podcasting, or digital marketing domains.

Ability to work under deadlines and receive feedback constructively
