Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an Associate Creative Designer who can combine video editing skills with strong graphic design capabilities to support Vedantu's brand campaigns, marketing initiatives, and social media content.

The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who can create engaging creatives across formats — from short-form videos and reels to social media designs, banners, and campaign assets.

You will work closely with designers, video producers, copywriters, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality creative assets that align with Vedantu's brand voice. The role also encourages experimenting with AI-assisted creative tools to improve speed, efficiency, and output quality.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production (Primary Responsibility)

Edit and assemble video content for marketing campaigns, reels, ads, and brand storytelling

Execute post-production tasks including trimming, transitions, subtitles, syncing audio, and basic sound clean-up

Maintain strong pacing, storytelling flow, and platform-friendly formats

Adapt video edits into multiple versions optimized for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and performance ads

Create simple motion graphics, text animations, and overlays where required

Design Support (Secondary Responsibility)

Create basic design assets such as thumbnails, social media creatives, and simple banners

Support campaign creatives by adapting existing design templates into different formats

Work with the design team to maintain brand consistency across video and static assets

Collaboration & Creative Execution

Work closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to execute creative ideas

Participate in brainstorming sessions for video content and campaign storytelling

Ensure consistency between video content and brand visuals

Workflow & Asset Management

Organize project files and maintain proper version control

Follow established processes for naming, storing, and delivering creative assets

Ensure smooth collaboration with internal teams during production cycles

Trend Awareness & Tool Adoption

Stay updated with video editing trends, social media formats, and storytelling styles

Experiment with new tools and workflows that improve video production efficiency

Use AI-assisted tools where relevant to speed up editing or creative iterations

Key KRAs

Timely delivery of video content aligned with campaign timelines

Consistent quality in editing, pacing, and storytelling

Platform-optimized video outputs with minimal revisions

Effective collaboration with creative and marketing teams

Organized project files and smooth asset management

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design and/or video editing (agency, media, or EdTech preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both design and video work
  • Proficiency in
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • After Effects
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Figma
  • AI tools: Freepik, ElevenLabs, Gemini, Heygen/ Synthesia
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, typography, pacing, and composition
  • Ability to take direction and execute creative ideas effectively
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills

Good to Have

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Filmmaking, or related field

Familiarity with AI creative tools (Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.)

Knowledge of sound design, color grading, or motion graphics

Understanding of digital marketing creatives and social media formats
