Schedule: 6 days a week (Mon to Sat, 2nd and 4th Saturdays off)
CTC: 3,60,000 per annum

About the Role
Kabes Media is hiring a full-time Assistant Video Editor to join our team in Bangalore. You will work across a range of films, including documentaries, ad films, and branded content, crafting compelling narratives in the edit room. This role suits someone with strong fundamentals, a serious work ethic, and a real commitment to visual storytelling. This is an on-site role. It is not entry-level, and we are not considering candidates whose experience is limited to social media reels or student projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit footage into engaging films with strong narrative flow and aesthetic consistency.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and producers to shape the final output.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing, motion graphics, and post effects.
- Create clean transitions, animated titles, infographics, and basic visual effects.
- Maintain quality standards, deliver on time, and respond to feedback quickly.
- Contribute to story structure, visual rhythm, and pacing with creative input.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional editing experience in documentary, corporate, or digital ad films. Internships, student work, and personal projects do not count toward this requirement.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Working motion graphics ability (lower thirds, titles, transitions).
- Solid understanding of story, visual rhythm, pacing, and post workflows.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and consistent with deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating in English and working in a collaborative team.

- Brings consistency, structure, and polish to every edit.
- Is open to feedback, quick to learn, and passionate about storytelling.
