About Varalife

We're a Bengaluru-based longevity supplement company building India's most science-forward supplement brand. Our products are engineered, not marketed, and our content should hold itself to the same standard. We're scaling our Meta ads operation and need someone who can move fast, think visually, and genuinely cares about making things that are good.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll be the primary editor behind our Meta ad creatives. Founder videos, product explainers, UGC-style cuts, testimonial edits, and formats we haven't tried yet. You'll work directly with the founders and our content strategist to produce a high volume of ad variations without letting quality slip.

Day to day, that looks like:

  • Editing short-form video ads (15s to 60s) for Reels, Stories, and Feed placements
  • Working with raw footage from founder shoots, creator collaborations, and product captures
  • Building creative variations across formats, visual treatments, and hooks so our ads don't all look the same to the algorithm (or to people)
  • Adding motion graphics, kinetic text, and visual overlays that make science-heavy messaging feel sharp, not boring
  • Understanding pacing and narrative structure, and knowing how to hold someone's attention in the first 3 seconds
  • Keeping project files, assets, and renders organized (this matters more than people think)

Who We're Looking For

Someone with 2 to 4 years of experience editing short-form video, ideally for performance marketing or D2C brands. You should be comfortable in Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve. After Effects is a strong plus.

Beyond the tools, here's what matters to us:

  • You have a feel for storytelling. You understand why a cut works, not just how to make it.
  • You can take talking-head footage and make it genuinely engaging through pacing, b-roll, text, and transitions.
  • Motion design skills (kinetic typography, lower thirds, simple 2D animation) would be a real advantage.
  • You actively consume content. You notice what's working in Reels and paid ads, and you bring those observations into your work.
  • You can take a brief and run with it, but you'll also speak up when something could be done better.
  • You're fast without being sloppy. We iterate constantly.

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience with health, wellness, or DTC brands
  • Familiarity with Meta ad creative best practices (hook rates, thumb-stop, safe zones)
  • Basic color grading and audio cleanup chops
  • A genuine interest in longevity, nutrition, or science communication
