Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and politically aware Video Editor to join us in Raipur. The candidate will be responsible for editing high-impact political videos for social media platforms and public outreach. The role demands speed, storytelling ability, and a strong understanding of political narratives and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit compelling videos for political campaigns, including short-form reels, long-form YouTube content and package videos, speeches, and event coverage.
• Create narrative-driven videos aligned with social media messaging aligining leadership communication, and party guidelines.
• Add graphics, subtitles, sound design, and basic motion elements to enhance video impact.
• Work closely with content, graphic, and social media teams for integrated campaign output.
• Ensure fast turnaround of videos during campaigns and high-pressure situations.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, tone, and branding across all video outputs.
• Manage and organise raw footage, archives, and final exports efficiently.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the political leaders, key issues, and prevailing and evolving narratives of Chhattisgarh.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in political campaigns, media houses, digital agencies, or consulting firms.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory); After Effects is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple deliverables simultaneously.
• AI Video Generation & Utilisation Skills:
• Working knowledge of AI tools for video editing, enhancement, captions, and automation.
• Familiarity with AI-based video tools such as Freepik, Leonardo, etc., or similar platforms for generative visuals, background enhancement, subtitles, and quick edits.
• Experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar AI platforms for scripting support, captioning, ideation, and workflow acceleration.
• Ability to strategically use AI-generated content in political communication.
