Urban Company started out as UrbanClap in Nov 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav and Varun realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented and offline. Customers found it difficult to avail quality services in a convenient manner, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators. The founders felt that the industry was ripe for disruption, and launched Urban Company, with three key principles in mind:

Revamp is a sub-brand of Urban Company (often abbreviated UC), launched in 2025, aimed specifically at quick, design-led home-improvement makeovers of walls and small spaces. We specialize in space makeover including categories like wall panels, decorative lighting, and woodwork.

About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor who can bring our spaces and stories to life.

You'll work closely with our Marketing team to craft engaging visual content that captures the essence of Revamp's design philosophy. From snappy social edits to cinematic storytelling, your work will help define how Revamp looks and feels across platforms.

Exceptional video editing skills with 2+ years of experience required, preferably in a reputed agency; prior work in home decor space is a bonus!

Responsibilities include:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and UC app
• Work on both short-form and long-form content, tailoring edits to suit each platform's audience and mood
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to develop fresh video concepts and storyboards
• Enhance visuals using motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and effects to elevate production quality
• Experiment with new formats, transitions, and storytelling styles to keep our content fresh and exciting
• Manage timelines, maintain quality standards, and ensure every project meets brand tone and deadlines
• Stay on top of trends in editing, social media, and digital storytelling to push creative boundaries
• Out of the box thinking is appreciated with high level of ownership and attention to detail required

Key Skills

Video Editing, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Video Making, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar software
