Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Coimbatore. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and produce video content that showcases Terra Tech Packs products, manufacturing processes, brand story, and sustainability initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, cutting and sequencing clips, applying transitions, color correction, motion graphics, and basic sound alignment to create engaging marketing and informational videos. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing and product teams to understand campaign goals, developing video concepts, and adapting content for multiple platforms such as social media, websites, and presentations. The Video Editor will maintain organized project files, manage deadlines, and ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, framing shots, and understanding lighting and camera basics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing, such as cutting, sequencing, transitions, and timeline management in professional editing software.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to correct and enhance footage for consistent, high-quality visual output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Additional qualifications: familiarity with sound design basics, ability to adapt content to different digital platforms, strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management.
- Preferred background: prior experience as a Video Editor or similar role, a portfolio/reel showcasing relevant work, and a diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams, openness to feedback, and an interest in sustainability and product-focused storytelling are highly beneficial.
