Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our marketing and media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded raw footage, adding effects, graphics, and sound to create engaging and professional video content for promotional, social media, and corporate purposes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final products.
- Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to understand project objectives and deliver the desired output.
- Create short-form and long-form videos for digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and creative storytelling in all video edits.
- Optimize videos for various platforms (aspect ratios, file formats, and compression standards).
- Incorporate brand guidelines, visual consistency, and tone of communication in all outputs.
- Manage and organize video files, archives, and project assets systematically.
- Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and social media content formats.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color grading.
- Strong creative and storytelling abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Studies, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in shooting videos (camera handling, lighting, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of digital marketing and social media content creation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
