About the Role
We're looking for a Video Editor – Social Media & Marketing who can turn raw footage and ideas into engaging, high-retention content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, and campaigns.
You'll work closely with our Social Media, Content, Design, and Marketing teams to create videos that stop the scroll, tell a story, and drive engagement.
What You'll Do
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, social media, ads, and promotional videos.
- Create strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, SFX, and B-roll.
- Edit trainer/personality-led content and repurpose long-form videos into Shorts/Reels.
- Create multiple versions of content for different platforms.
- Experiment with trending editing styles while maintaining Skillinabox's brand.
- Manage multiple edits, revisions, and short TATs.
- Collaborate with the Social Media and Marketing teams.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience or a strong portfolio.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, retention, and social media trends.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
- A let's make it happen attitude with the ability to experiment and take ownership.
Compensation & Benefits
- 3 LPA – 3.6 LPA Fixed + ESOPs
- Fast appraisal cycle: 6–10 months
