We're Hiring: Senior UGC Video Editor (Full-Time, Remote)
At Sixteen Dreams, we create high-impact content that grabs attention and drives real engagement. We're looking for a creative, hands-on Senior UGC Video Editor (3+ Years Experience) who is a master at storytelling, knows what makes social media ads convert, and is an expert in leveraging AI tools to create high-performing ad creatives.
If you understand audience psychology, short-form storytelling, and how to turn raw UGC footage into viral, high-converting ad formats—this role is for you!
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3+ Years
Compensation: 35,000 – 45,000 / month (In-hand; final salary depending on personal interview performance & experience)
##Key Responsibilities
UGC & AI Ad Creation: Edit, optimize, and produce performance-driven User-Generated Content (UGC) and AI-generated video ads with compelling hooks, authentic cuts, and dynamic pacing.
Visual Storytelling: Translate brand briefs into strong narrative structures that hook viewers in the first 3 seconds and drive audience retention.
Post-Production Excellence: Edit, trim, color grade, and refine high-quality video content tailored for digital platforms (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, Meta Ads).
Creative Ideation: Bring fresh ad concepts, narrative hooks, and innovative ideas to elevate client campaigns.
Mentorship & Team Support: Work alongside Producers, Animators, and Copywriters while guiding, training, and providing constructive feedback to junior editors and interns.
Project Ownership & AI Integration: Take full ownership of deliverables under tight deadlines and stay ahead of viral trends, editing techniques, and AI tools to streamline workflows.
##What We're Looking For
3+ years of hands-on video editing experience, with proven expertise in crafting UGC-style content and AI video ads.
Must possess strong storytelling skills with a deep understanding of retention hooks, pacing, sound design, and visual flow.
Expertise in AI video tools (for AI ad generation, avatars, script workflows, and editing enhancements).
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and modern editing suites is a big plus.
Ability to guide, mentor, and train junior editors and interns.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
##Tech Setup
Must have your own laptop/desktop system capable of handling smooth 4K editing, AI tools, and heavy rendering workflows.
