UniUpp is a rapidly expanding UK-based higher education organisation producing large volumes of short-form social media content daily. We operate across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, and require a video editor who can reliably deliver high-volume content at a fast and consistent pace.

This is not a typical creative editing positionit is a structured, systematic, high-output production role suitable only for individuals who are disciplined, highly efficient, and consistent on a daily basis.

We are seeking a highly efficient, organised, and disciplined Video Editor based in India to produce and publish six (6) short-form UGC videos per day, each with three (3) editing variations:

1. High Editing Advanced editing, transitions, pacing, effects, creative style.
2. Medium Editing Clean visuals, captioning, moderate effects.
3. Basic Editing (UniUpp Style) Simple cuts, captions, minimalistic formatting.

Total Daily Output Required:

6 videos 3 variations = 18 edited videos per day

This role is ideal for editors who excel in speed, consistency, multitasking, and structured daily output, rather than slow, artistic, or experimental editing styles.

• Edit 18 total video assets daily (6 originals 3 versions each).
• Ensure all edits meet UniUpp's format, caption, and brand standards.
• Maintain fast turnaround times and strict submission deadlines.
• Organise files, manage content pipelines, and work from daily briefs.

The editor must publish content daily across:

• TikTok
• Instagram Reels
• Facebook
• YouTube Shorts
• LinkedIn

Responsibilities include:

• Correct formatting in 9:16 vertical
• Caption writing using AI tools
• Basic thumbnail selection for YouTube
• Upload scheduling (Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, etc.)
• SEO, hashtags, and keyword optimisation

Editor must use ChatGPT daily to:

• Generate captions
• Write descriptions
• Create tags and hashtags
• Produce multiple variations of text
• Optimise content for platform algorithms

Fluency in ChatGPT is mandatory.

To qualify for this role, editors must be able to meet the following:

• Basic edit: under 20 minutes
• Medium edit: under 40 minutes
• High-edit: under 6090 minutes
• Daily delivery: All content delivered by agreed daily deadline (IST to UK schedule alignment)

This is a performance-first role. Failure to meet daily output will not be acceptable.

• Strong experience editing short-form UGC content.
• Ability to produce high, medium, and basic variations consistently.
• Fluency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to work quickly without compromising clarity.
• Excellent English communication (written and spoken).
• Strong sense of discipline, structure, and time management.
• Experience with social media publishing on multiple platforms.
• Ability to work independently and deliver reliably every day.
