Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn long-form podcasts into powerful short-form reels, enhance storytelling, and maintain a premium brand look across platforms.
Key Responsibilities Podcast Editing
- Edit long-form podcast videos (YouTube, Spotify video)
- Clean cuts, smooth transitions, noise reduction & audio sync
- Add intro/outro, lower-thirds, name tags, and branding elements
Reels & Short-Form Content
- Create 3060 sec reels for Instagram, YouTube Shorts & LinkedIn
- Add subtitles, hooks, punchy cuts, emojis (where needed)
- Highlight viral moments, business insights, and emotional hooks
Visual Quality & Brand Consistency
- Maintain color tone, face softening, sharpness & framing
- Ensure videos match Scaling Wolf AI's professional & premium look
- Follow brand guidelines and editing SOPs
AI + Business Content Support
- Edit content around AI, startups, founders & business growth
- Assist in experimenting with new reel formats & trends
- Collaborate with content & marketing teams
Requirements
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of reels trends & short attention hooks
- Good sense of storytelling, timing & pacing
- Experience with subtitles (Auto & Manual)
- Basic knowledge of color grading & audio correction
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
