About the Role:
We're hiring a high-skill video editor to create premium, fast-paced real estate social media edits (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok). Our style is modern, punchy, and highly engagingstrong hooks, clean captions, tight pacing, and polished visual/sound design.
What You'll Do:
- Edit short-form real estate videos (primarily 9:16 vertical) with high retention pacing
- Create engaging structures: hook value CTA, pattern interrupts, smooth transitions
- Add professional captions/subtitles (animated, on-brand, perfectly timed)
- Incorporate b-roll, overlays, zooms, speed ramps, motion graphics, and SFX tastefully
- Perform color correction/grading and clean audio (noise reduction, leveling, music mixing)
- Use AI video tools to enhance content when needed (generative b-roll, background replacement, cleanup, etc.)
- Follow brand guidelines and iterate quickly based on feedback
- Organize project files and deliver edits on schedule
Required Skills:
- Advanced CapCut OR Final Cut Pro skills (templates + custom edits, keyframes, masking, tracking, effects)
- Strong sense of timing, rhythm, storytelling, and retention editing
- Excellent with caption styling, motion text, and on-screen graphics
- Ability to source/choose b-roll and assets that match real estate/lifestyle aesthetics
- Comfortable using AI tools for video creation/enhancement (examples: Runway, Pika, Kling, CapCut AI features, Adobe AI tools, etc.)
- Reliable internet + ability to work remotely with tight turnaround times
- Strong communication in English (written is a must)
- Nice to Have
- Experience editing for real estate agents/brokerages or luxury/lifestyle brands
- Basic knowledge of social performance: hooks, pacing, trend formats, CTA placement
- Sound design skills (whooshes, impacts, subtle risers, music ducking)
Deliverables & Expectations:
- Output formats: 1080x1920 (vertical), optimized for Reels/Shorts
- Consistent style: clean, premium, modern, and brand-aligned
- Typical workload: ongoing weekly edits (details shared during hiring)
- Turnaround: typically 1-3 hours per edit (depending on complexity)
