Position: Video Editor

Skills Required: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Canva, Camera & Light setup handling
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and sequencing: Review raw footage, trim segments, and assemble them into a cohesive and logical sequence.
- Enhancements: Implement visual and sound effects, motion graphics, and color correction to improve the quality and aesthetic of the video.
- Audio integration: Add and synchronize audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand project needs and execute the creative vision.
- Brand alignment: Ensure the finished video meets the client's or company's brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Platform optimization: Adapt and optimize videos for different platforms, such as social media or websites.
- Project management: Organize and manage all digital assets, track progress, and deliver projects on time.
- Creative input: Offer creative ideas and solutions throughout the pre-production and post-production process.
- Review and refinement: Create rough and final cuts, and make revisions based on stakeholder feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical expertise: Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer.
- Software knowledge: Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects software like Adobe After Effects is often required.
- Storytelling and creativity: A strong artistic vision and a knack for visual storytelling are essential for producing engaging content.
- Attention to detail: Video editors must have a meticulous eye to catch inconsistencies and maintain continuity.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication is necessary for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
