About The Role:
We are looking for creative and technically skilled Video Editors proficient in English & Hindi , who can transform written scripts into engaging, high-quality videos using AI-powered tools. You'll work closely with our content and creative teams to craft visually compelling, emotionally resonant videos that connect deeply with regional audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert scripts into videos using AI tools (text-to-video platforms, AI visuals, voiceover tools, etc.)
- Oversee audio, visual, and editing quality to ensure a professional final output.
- Ideate and execute engaging video concepts tailored to audience preferences and platform dynamics.
- Maintain consistency in editing style, tone, and storytelling across videos.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to refine scripts and visual flow.
- Stay updated with the latest AI tools and trends in video editing and production.
Required Skills & Experiences:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably for digital content platforms.
- Proficiency in AI video creation tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Synthesia, Descript, etc.)
- Strong understanding of audio design, pacing, and visual composition.
- Creative ideation skills with an eye for engagement and storytelling.
- Midjourney, Adobe After Effects.
- Native fluency in Malayalam, Tamil or Hindi (with strong grasp of cultural nuances).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
Interview Process:
- Video Editor Evaluation
- Assignment Round (2 Days) Create a short video from a provided script using AI tools.
- Final Interview Round Discussion on approach, creativity, and tool proficiency.

Compensation: 30,000 40,000 per month

Handle sensitive data responsibly in compliance with the DPDP Act, ISO-27001:2022, and Pratilipi's internal security policies ensuring data privacy, confidentiality, and NDA obligations at all times.
