PointsFly is building India's first Fin-Travel platform that helps credit-card users maximize the value of their reward points for flights and hotels.

Our AI agent AIRA — Autonomous Intelligent Rewards Agent helps users earn more points and redeem them for high-value travel instead of low-value vouchers.

We are building a YouTube-first content strategy to educate users about:

• Credit card reward points

• Airline miles and loyalty programs

• Luxury travel using points

• Hidden airline redemption deals

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative YouTube Video Editor with strong AI tool knowledge who can turn raw recordings into high-engagement educational videos and viral reels.

The editor should also be comfortable using AI tools for editing, thumbnails, subtitles, and graphics to speed up production and improve quality.

Responsibilities

Long Form YouTube Videos

Edit 8–12 minute YouTube videos including:

• Clean jump cuts

• Motion graphics explaining concepts

• On-screen highlights for key points

• Screen recordings of airline searches and point bookings

• B-roll (airplanes, travel clips, hotels etc.)

• Audio cleanup and color correction

Example topics:

• Best use of credit card points

• Business class travel for free

• Airline miles vs vouchers

• Hidden airline alliance deals

Shorts / Reels Editing

Create viral short-form videos (30–60 sec)

Editing style should include:

• Strong hook in first 2 seconds

• Bold subtitles

• Fast jump cuts

• Dynamic zooms

• Sound effects

• Highlighted numbers and calculations

Example reels:

• 5000 voucher vs 35000 flight

• 200+ flights booked on credit card points

• Biggest credit card rewards mistake

AI Tool Usage (Important)

The editor should be comfortable using AI tools to speed up content production.

Examples include:

• Adobe AI tools

AI Thumbnail Design

Ability to design thumbnails using tools like:

• Midjourney

• DALL-E

• Ideogram

• Canva AI

• Photoshop AI

Tasks include:

• Generating thumbnail concepts

• Removing backgrounds

• Adding bold text

• Creating travel-related visuals (planes, maps, routes etc.)

Graphics & Visual Enhancements

Add:

• Animated arrows and highlights

• Reward point calculations

• Comparison charts

• Airline and credit card logos

• Value per point graphics

Thumbnail Coordination

Work with the founder to produce high CTR YouTube thumbnails.

Focus on:

• Clear storytelling

• Bold text

• Finance + travel theme

• Human expression + visual contrast

Required Skills

• Strong YouTube editing experience

• Knowledge of Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects

• Experience editing educational or finance content

• Ability to create YouTube shorts & reels

Strong Bonus
