Role Overview

We are looking for a creative YouTube Video Editor with strong AI tool knowledge who can turn raw recordings into high-engagement educational videos and viral reels.

The editor should also be comfortable using AI tools for editing, thumbnails, subtitles, and graphics to speed up production and improve quality.

Responsibilities

Long Form YouTube Videos

Edit 812 minute YouTube videos including:

Clean jump cuts

Motion graphics explaining concepts

On-screen highlights for key points

Screen recordings of airline searches and point bookings

B-roll (airplanes, travel clips, hotels etc.)

Audio cleanup and color correction

Example topics:

Best use of credit card points

Business class travel for free

Airline miles vs vouchers

Hidden airline alliance deals

Shorts / Reels Editing

Create viral short-form videos (3060 sec)

Editing style should include:

Strong hook in first 2 seconds

Bold subtitles

Fast jump cuts

Dynamic zooms

Sound effects

Highlighted numbers and calculations

Example reels:

5000 voucher vs 35000 flight

200+ flights booked on credit card points

Biggest credit card rewards mistake

AI Tool Usage (Important)

The editor should be comfortable using AI tools to speed up content production.
