Video editor- Podcasts

As a Video Editor at Social Hippi, you will lead, produce, and edit video that engages an audience. We are on the lookout for the ideal candidate who loves to roll up their sleeves and turn video content into compelling content that generates a buzz. As part of this role you will be editing long form and short form videos for our founders podcast channel ( startupwithshashank) and startupwithshashank.telugu. Understanding of Telugu language is a plus.

• Edit and produce high quality video content for social media platforms ( Long form for Youtube and short form for Instagram)
• Edit videos to ensure compelling storytelling
• Adding transitions, music, sound effects and visual effects
• Edit content for Youtube shorts
• Colour correction and colour grading
• Adding text overlays and captions
• Graphic design
• Knowledge of artistic editing techniques
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions
• Staying abreast with all things trending on social media

Technical skills:

• Be proficient and well versed in all the desktop and mobile video editing softwares ( Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Adobe premiere pro is must. Additional skills - Davinci Resolve, lightroom, after effects)

Job requirements:

• Proven experience of video editing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
