Notable productions include the popular Bengali TV serial Kauasha Ghera Karseong and the feature film Aparajita.
The company has recently launched its own OTT Platform, Rangoli Cinema, now available on the Play Store.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor, based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging video content aligned with the creative vision of the production team. Daily tasks include assembling clips, adding sound design, creating transitions, color correction, syncing audio, and ensuring timely delivery of production-ready videos for digital, broadcast, and OTT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for films, OTT content, promos, and social media.
Work closely with directors, cinematographers, and the creative team to achieve the required edit style.
Add music, sound effects, graphics, titles, and color grading as needed.
Ensure brand consistency and maintain visual storytelling quality.
Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within deadlines.
Organize and maintain video files, project timelines, and version control.
Provide creative input during pre-production and post-production phases.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and sound design.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
Prior experience in film, OTT, or digital media editing (preferred).
Certificate or degree in Editing, Film Studies, Multimedia, or related field (preferred).
