Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, engaging short-form videos and reels optimized for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit raw footage by adding transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and music to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Deliver edits quickly for time-sensitive and short-notice content while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and design teams to understand creative briefs and execute them effectively.
- Create basic visual assets such as thumbnails, social media creatives, and simple design layouts when required.
- Manage, organize, and archive video files to ensure a smooth and efficient editing workflow.
- Stay updated with current short-form video trends, social media formats, and editing styles to keep content fresh and relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience as a Video Editor, preferably working on short-form or social media content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing reels, shorts, or social media video edits.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
- Basic working knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Strong sense of pacing, music selection, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Good understanding of platform-specific best practices for vertical video content.
