Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor cum Graphic Designer for a full-time on-site position located in Gurugram. As an Editor & Designer, you will be responsible for editing video footage, incorporating motion graphics, and ensuring high-quality visual standards through color grading. You will collaborate with our creative team to produce engaging video content that aligns with our brand's vision and values. Additionally, you will contribute to conceptualizing and enhancing visual storytelling to promote our products effectively.

Another major key area is AI - Video Gen, Image Gen, Editing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
• Strong knowledge of Video Color Grading techniques
• Experience in Motion Graphics and Animation Development
• Skills in Graphics Design and Visual Composition (Figma, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, CorelDraw)
• Proficient in Video Editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro & After Effects or preferably CapCut & DaVinci Resolve
• Proficient in AI Video Editing tools/platforms
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand aesthetics
• Prior experience in e-commerce or pet care industries is a plus, w.r.t. premium brands

Soft Skills / Additionals (Good To Have)

Since we're a growing startup with a very lean team, these characteristics would be beneficial -

• Understanding processes and turning them into flows
• Figuring out solutions without needing to be hand held (briefs could be difficult to understand completely, so asking the right questions and coming up with solutions relatively quickly)
• Reliability and Accountability (goes without saying, but to manage and set expectations appropriately)
• Having a high standard/bar for deliverables (knowing when something is good enough v something that might need another iteration)
• Moving Fast (able to put something together quickly and then validating it)
• Effective Communication (explain decisions clearly, push-back on bad ideas collaboratively, accepting feedback)
• Adaptive / Handling Ambiguity (earlystagestartup, everything is changing all the time)

Work Experience & Compensation

• 1-2 years minimum required, 3+ years preferred
• Compensation as per Industry Standards
