Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor based in Pune. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished final products, ensuring seamless storytelling and high production quality. Other responsibilities will include collaborating with creative teams to conceptualize video content, managing multimedia projects, and ensuring brand consistency across all visual assets. Proficiency in video editing software, post-production tools, and a strong sense of timing and visual aesthetics are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and tools like Adobe After Effects is highly desirable
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and optimization for digital and social media platforms
- Basic audio editing and color grading skills to ensure professional-grade video production
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams, meet deadlines, and adjust to feedback
- Attention to detail and storytelling skills to create compelling, engaging visual content
- Understanding of the education or academic sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in film production, media, communications, or a related field
- Prior experience as a Video Editor or similar role will be advantageous
