Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Meta Social. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, and optimizing content for various social and digital platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and creative teams, following brand guidelines and campaign goals, adding motion graphics and visual elements, and performing color grading to ensure consistent and high-quality output. The role also involves preparing video assets for multiple formats, managing file organization, and staying current with trends in social video and digital storytelling. The Video Editor is expected to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute ideas to improve content performance and viewer engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing across short-form and long-form content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual assets.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
• Understanding of social media platforms, aspect ratios, and best practices for performance-focused video content.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
