Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Video Editor based in Chennai. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into engaging content for marketing campaigns, social media, and brand communication. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, music, and basic visual effects, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The intern will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to interpret creative briefs, suggest visual storytelling approaches, and deliver content within deadlines. The role may also involve basic motion graphics, adapting videos for different platforms, and maintaining an organized media library.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction for digital content.
- Understanding of social media formats and best practices for video content across platforms.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, apply storytelling techniques, and maintain consistent brand aesthetics.
