Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Video Editor will work closely with the production and creative teams to edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include assembling and trimming footage, applying color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and optimizing audio for clarity and impact. The role also involves adapting content for different platforms and aspect ratios, collaborating on visual concepts and storyboards, managing project files and backups, and meeting tight delivery timelines for multi-location shoots and campaigns. The Video Editor will contribute ideas to enhance storytelling, ensure consistency across assets, and support the end-to-end production workflow from ingest to final export.

Qualifications

• Strong video production and video editing skills, including experience working with professional cameras and multi-format footage.
• Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to maintain visual consistency and cinematic quality.
• Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics elements for titles, lower thirds, transitions, and visual enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalents).
• Solid understanding of narrative pacing, visual storytelling, framing, and composition for diverse formats (social media, web, events, AVs).
• Knowledge of video codecs, export settings, and optimization for digital platforms and performance-focused campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with creative, production, and marketing teams on-site.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in real estate, automotive, enterprise, or event-focused video content is an advantage.
