Job Overview

Melon Studio is seeking a skilled and motivated Video Editor to support our growing content and branding initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong technical abilities, a creative mindset, and a solid understanding of modern digital video trends.

You will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to deliver visually compelling and brand-aligned edits that meet strategic objectives.

Freshers are welcome to apply! Candidates with prior videography experience will be eligible for additional incentives.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Edit and produce video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve

* Create short-form and long-form videos including reels, promotional content, and branded assets

* Implement motion graphics, transitions, typography, and visual effects as required

* Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, clarity, and overall visual quality

* Collaborate with internal teams to interpret briefs and refine edits

* Stay updated with video trends on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, etc.

* Manage timelines, revisions, and deliverables efficiently

Qualifications

* Basic understanding of video editing principles and production workflows

* Strong awareness of social media and short-form content trends

* Ability to incorporate feedback and adapt quickly

* A portfolio or sample work showcasing your editing skills

* (Academic or project-based work is acceptable)

Bonus: Experience in videography eligible for incentive-based compensation
