Job Title: Social Media Video Editor & Content Creator
Location: Kolathur, Chennai (On-site / In-Office)
Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Commensurate with experience & portfolio)
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Pacing & The 2-Second Hook:
Structure edits to hook viewers instantly. Master fast-paced, high-retention cuts tailored for short-form video behavior.
Trend & Algorithm Optimization:
Stay ahead of daily social media shifts. Seamlessly integrate trending audio, native text placement patterns, and visual pacing that the current algorithms favor.
Advanced Transitions & Social Effects:
Craft clean, modern, seamless transitions and overlay trending social effects (glitch, kinetic typography, pop-ups, sound-design-backed elements) to keep visual engagement high.
Premium Color Grading & Traditional Edits:
Bring a cinematic feel to both raw phone footage and camera shots. High-quality color correction and stylized grading are mandatory.
Time-Sensitive Deliverables:
Maintain a strict content calendar with sharp, highly punctual delivery turnarounds.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Software Mastery:
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
Short-Form Expertise:
Proven portfolio showing highly engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or commercial advertisements.
Sound Design Sense:
Excellent understanding of audio layering, beat-matching, and using sound effects (SFX) to punctuate visual transitions.
Location:
Must be able to commute daily to our setup in Kolathur, Chennai.
